GAAY Masoor Dal is grown in vigorous soil and hygienic environment. Masoor dal or Red split lentils has a pretty reddish-orange color in their dried form, but they turn yellow when cooked. Masoor is simple and very easy to cook; just a tadka with onions, tomatoes and green chilies gives it a wonderful flavor. It is mainly used as the base for curries such as sambar, dal etc.
